So many of our tandem hire customers chose to explore the traffic free roads of Windsor Great Park and enjoyed it so much we decided to create a Windsor Great Park Tandem Experience day. Come and share the natural beauty of Windsor Great Park on a bicycle made for two! 
Located under the watchful gaze of Windsor Castle the Great Park offers over 1,000 acres of Woodland, Lakes and Gardens interconnected with a network of traffic free roadways – ideal for exploration by tandem. Some of the attractions to visit during your Windsor Great Park tandem experience, are:-
Windsor – A weekend break destination in it’s own right with the number one attraction being Windsor Castle. You could also visit Dorney Lake (2012 Olympics rowing and canoeing venue) take a ride along the Thames or even hit the shops.
The Savill Garden – A beautiful 35 acre ornamental garden created by Sir Eric Savill in the 1930’s. Explore the interlocking gardens such as the Spring Wood, Summer Wood, Hidden Gardens and Azalea Walks.
Valley Gardens – Covering 250 acres of the Great Park along the Northern shore of Virginia Water the Valley Gardens are a fine example of flowering forest interspersed with grassy meadows. Native trees include Sweet Chestnut, Scots Pine, Flowering Cherry, Exotic Oaks and Sweet Gums.
Smiths Lawn – Sandwiched between the Savill and Valley Gardens in the South East corner of Windsor Great Park, Smiths Lawn is the home to the Guards Polo Club where games can be watched free of charge throught the summer months. See Guards Polo Club Website
Virginia Water Lakes – Created in 1753 Virginia Water was until the creation of the great reservoirs the largest man made body of water in the British Isles. 
Visit the ornamental waterfall, Roman temple or the ornately carved 100 ft tall totem pole, a gift from the government of British Columbia.
Royal Lodge - Take a ride past the Queen Mothers marital home, now home to Prince Andrew.
The Small Print
Experience Summary: We will meet you at the Virginia Water Lake car park between 09:00 – 10:00 with your Circe Helios tandem, demonstrate how to ride the tandem safely and make all the necessary adjustments to get you both comfortable. The day is yours to explore the Windsor Great Park and we will meet you back at the car park between 16:00 and 17:00.
Availability: The Windsor Great Park tandem experience is available 7 days per week from May 1st – October 2nd subject to availability.
Requirements: To participate you need to be over 5ft (153 cms) tall front rider and 4ft (122 cms) tall rear rider with a maximum combined rider weight of 31 Stone (170kg) Riders must be fit and healthy and at least one member of the party needs to be 18 years of age or older. Helmets not provided but we do recommend that they are worn.
