Tandem touring (in our opinion) is the best way to holiday on a bike. The feeling of camaraderie and communication you get on a tandem cannot be replicated on solo bikes as invariably one rider will be stronger than the other which leads to conflict and frustration. Riding a tandem you are 'in it together' which most people love and some people hate!
The only downside to tandem touring is that your luggage carrying capacity is reduced when compared to taking two solo bikes so you can either travel a bit lighter, put the tandem on the roof rack (we can hire you a tandem carrier) and carry luggage in the car, or forget camping and take advantage of nice comfortable B&B's.

Tandem Roof Rack Attachment - This roof rack is essential if you would like to collect the tandem by car and can be fitted to all common square or oval section roofrack bars £20 per week/weekend.
