If you have never ridden a tandem before, or you are looking into going on a tandem tour or just fancy a great day out in a beautiful setting then a tandem day hire is for you. Our day hire tandems offer an ideal way to try out a tandem for the first time and to see if you would enjoy a longer tandem trip.
Windsor Great Park provides an ideal location from where a full day of tandem riding and sightseeing can be enjoyed in a low/zero traffic environment. The Windsor Great Park Tandem Experience includes delivery and collection of the tandem to Rangers Gate along with a pannier bag, park map and a souvenir digital photograph all for £75 per tandem per day.
Day hire tandems are also available for collection from our base in Newbury, Berkshire for £60 per tandem per day.
Day hire tandem package includes:
- Correctly sized and fully maintained tandem
- Roadside repair kit and pump
- Security lock
For most Day Hires you will ride the Circe Helios tandem (below)
If you're of a more adventurous frame of mind you may like to collect a tandem from our permanent base in Newbury, Berkshire and head out into the beautiful Wessex downs. The horse racing centre of Lambourn can be reached in an hour, the Uffington White Horse and Waylands Smithy in a couple of hours. And with our Circe compact tandems it's easy to pop the bike in the back of a hatchback or estate car (rear seats will need to be folded) and start your day further afield. The Cotswolds and New Forest are popular destinations.
